October is just around the corner and that means Foundation Month.

The Sons of Norway Foundation has awarded a $1,000 Helping Hands Grant to the Twin Cities Red Cross for their outstanding work following the 35W bridge collapse in Minneapolis. They were instrumental in the triage of over 100 victims immediately following this disaster. We are also giving Helping Hands to Members grants to Sons of Norway families affected by a recent tornado in Northwood, ND and to a family in Winona,MN who lost their home due to the recent flooding in SE Minnesota. These grants come from the Sons of Norway Foundation Humanitarian Fund. Your donations to this fund allow us to offer these grants following natural disasters to Sons of Norway members and their communities.
